Since Jeffrey Pang introduced the Skyva about a year ago, this Yo-Yo hasn’t stopped being a 'Super-sales' in full force, and no wonder, the Skyva is a great, great Yo-Yo, but the brains behind this project have gone a step further, and have made the ‘same’ Yo-Yo in aluminum 6061. Keep reading!
Keeping the same design and changing the material of manufacture isn’t an easy task, it’s a real engineering job, you know, the weight distribution influences and weights change from one material to another. So much so, that have been working in this Metal Skyva nothing more and nothing less than more than 6 months! Incredible!
But not all you see is Aluminum here, let me explain. The Skyva introduced a new concept called 'FingerSpin', remember? Okay, as it couldn’t be otherwise, this new version made of aluminum maintains the same concept, but from a technical point of view, one of the enemies of 'FingerSpin' style is the friction between your finger and the hub, so these guys had to look for another material that allowed to make the longest 'FingerSpin' ever imagined, Guess the new material already? Exactly, the outer faces of the Yo-Yo have been made in Delrin, and my friend, the result couldn’t be better… :-O
The final finish of this Metal Skyva has been taken to another level to achieve the finest and premium feel you can imagine. For this reason it’s clear that Jeffrey Pang is behind this Yo-Yo. His trademark is "The most premium you can buy", absolutely. You’ll understand my words when you have your Metal Skyva in your hands.
