But, what are cookies?

Cookies are small files that some platforms, like websites can install on your computer, smartphone, tablet or TV that are connected to the internet. Their uses are very varied. They can store the preferences in your search engine, compile statistical information, allow certain technical functionalities… Sometimes cookies can also be used to store basic information about search engine habits from the user or team, and can recognize them.

And so why are they important?

Cookies are useful for various reasons. From a technical point of view they allow websites to be more agile and adaptable to your preferences, like for example they store your language, city or country. Plus, they allow the owners of a website to improve their services, thanks to the statistical data they obtain from them.

So then, how do we use cookies?

In the case of electronic commercial use, they allow you to maintain information about what is in your shopping cart. We use the well known “cookies for a status session” to be able to improve our services with the goal of bettering the searching experience for our users. If these cookies are blocked or deleted though, the website will keep working.

This makes reports on the user habits without identifying individual users. Thanks to this we can study search patterns and better the site.
