Those who know and understand yo-yo's, say the eight8eight from YoYoFactory is "a machine". I'm not sure if I am exaggerating but it is true that the new aesthetic is incredible. It is now only 1 gram heavier than the original 2007 and with better weight distribution. I personally do not think that this dramatically changes playability but it is still such an enjoyable experience to play. Plays fast and smooth and builds great confidence until you truly feel like a champion.

It is made of aluminum, includes premium Hubstacks, facilitating the time and the smoothness of rotation and provides more game play options. The axle is stainless steel, and the shape is butterfly wings with the YYF spec bearing size C. Response is provided by YYF silicone pads.
